Think Detroit PAL program quality being Studied by Michigan State University

This summer you will see Michigan State researchers at baseball and softball games. TD PAL has hired members of the Institute for the Study of Youth Sports to study the quality of its programs. This study will help us enhance the sport experience for youth, coaches, and parents.

MSU researchers may contact your team’s coach and ask to hand out surveys about the kid’s experiences. You may also see them with a clip board taking notes about a game or practice. Don’t worry about their presence; their job is to assess TD PAL. You are not personally being evaluated.

This program improvement study is vital to improving the quality of TD PAL programs. You play a big role in helping us learn what is good about the programs, and what to change. Please just be your self while MSU researchers are around and feel free to come up and say “hi”.

If you have questions about this program improvement study please contact Tim Richey of Think Detroit PAL or Dr. Larry Lauer at Michigan State University (lauerl@msu.edu 517-353-5395).
